I hate that the Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP/Videogame (the videogames’ BGM is made up of tracks from the Superbrothers EP) hasn’t got a release date yet.
My iPhone arrives next month and I was hoping that this would be the first App I’d be buying. Featuring some truly beautiful pieces of scenery and a brilliant musical score, this is definitely one little gem to watch.
I’ve watched this once…and I’m already shit-scared of blonde girls. Everything that Atlus are doing right now is incredible. Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey and their rereleases of the first three Persona titles are good examples of this.
Catherine looks to be yet another dark and moody adventure title crammed full of demons and other unsightly creatures. I doubt we’ll ever get a western release though…which is good for those of us who scare easily…
We’re REALLY looking forward to Pokémon Black & White. They’re look seriously tastey right about now.
P.S. Sorry about the lack of posts. We’ve been busy with a ton of personal stuff. We’re back now though so quit crying.
Charming yet so, so simple. Mamono Saber is for those on a coffee break. One of the internets lesser known gems.
Another little gem of a game for you today. This one’s free. The Moonkeeper is one of the best free side scrolling shooters out there. Created by 8-Bit musical maestro (listen to Midland if you need proof of his talent) Pgil, this is one atari throwback that you do NOT want to miss. Featuring some of the nicest screen layovers I’ve ever seen, this really is pure nostalgia. The game is available for download HERE.
I picked this up yesterday after seeing a post over at Tiny Cartridge. Arvoesine is exactly what I look for in a game, simple controls, beautiful NES style graphics and a tiny Roman as a main character. I bought it for £3.75 (that’s $5 to you guys in the US) and it was probably my best buy all year. So addictive, so infuriating, SO NOSTALGIC. It brings back memories of every side scrolling platformer I’ve ever played and with only five levels, this is perfect for lunchbreaks and wakes…uhh…scrap that second one. This game gets 10 out of 10 from me.
